Fred and Mick, two old friends, both almost 80 years old, are spending their spring break together in an elegant hotel in the middle of the Swiss mountains.
Fred is a retired composer and conductor. Mick, on the other hand, is still an active film director who is currently working on the screenplay for his latest film project, which is intended to be the crowning glory of his previous work. The two friends know that their time is slowly coming to an end and therefore decide to face the future together. Do you still have a future in old age or just a past?
