A Swiss mountain village is thrust into the international spotlight when, shortly before the start of construction of a controversial holiday resort, the daughter of the Arab investor disappears without a trace. The local police officer Rosa Wilder (Sarah Spale), who grew up in the village, is supposed to find her. Together with the federal criminal investigator Manfred Kägi (Marcus Signer), she uncovers a dark secret that has been festering under the surface of the valley for years - and has more to do with her own history than she knows.
