In 1956, copywriter Emmi Creola invents the fictional character Betty Bossi, who soon becomes Switzerland’s beloved cooking icon. Many people believe that Mrs. Bossi actually exists, and Emmi unexpectedly finds herself in the spotlight. Yet professional success and personal pressures begin to pull her apart.
