39-year-old Renate (Esther Gemsch) is in a life crisis. Her sister killed herself and her long-term relationship is falling apart. Renate seeks out a psychotherapist (Robert Hunger-Bühler). He gives her the attention she always wanted, therefore she falls in love with him and embarks on a sexual adventure. When she learns that the doctor is also having relationships with other patients, she breaks down. Only after a painful process Renate manages to free herself from the psychological dependency. Now she is taking legal actions against him. The story of a sensitive woman who grew strong in the fight for justice.
