Andrej Medvedev is the first Wagner mercenary to fight for Russia in Ukraine and flee to the West. Today he lives in Oslo, has applied for political asylum, and says he wants to "find peace." But he is his own worst enemy when it comes to integration in Norway: Despite fleeing Putin's Russia, Andrej remains a staunch Russian patriot.
