11-year-old Anna (Alice Deekeling), who is getting her broken family through, has already learned a lot about growing up. This summer it gets even worse. In the midst of the turmoil of puberty, she loses her hopelessly drinking mother (Renée Soutendijk). A dream she has with 13-year-old Micky (Marlon Kittel) turns serious: Anna elopes to look for her lost father (Hanspeter Müller-Drossaart) abroad. She finds him - or he finds her - but differently than planned. A family drama told less sombrely than melancholically, cheerfully and with quiet irony.
